Based on Daily Shipbuilding & Offshore News, up to the end of January 2015, an obvious change of the global shipyard holding orderbook leaderboard has taken place, where our group ranked 10th place in single shipyard ranking list, exceeding STX Shipbuilding & Offshore Chinhae Shipyard.

In the end of January 2015, the top ten shipyards listed in the global shipyard holding orderbook leaderboard are DSME Okpo Shipyard, HHI Ulsan Shipyard, SHI Koje Shipyard, HHI Mipo Shipyard, Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries, Jiangsu New Yangtze Shipbuilding Taizhou Shipyard, Hudong-zhonghua Shipbuilding Shanghai Shipyard, SWS, Sungdong Shipbuilding & Offshore Tongyeong Shipyard, and Dalian Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. respectively.

Data shows, up to the end of January 2015, the global shipbuilding industry holding orderbook is 5154 ships, amounting to 311.1 million DWT(113.9 million CGT), where there is a slight decrease in contrast with 320.3 million DWT. In addition, the newbuild completion of China shipbuilding enterprises is 88 ships, amounting to 5.6 million DWT (1.7 million CGT) with total value of about 3.1 billion USD, which has taken the 1st place globally based on ship quantity, DWT and CGT. Meantime, the newbuild completion of Korean shipyards is 32 ships, amounting to 2.5 million DWT (1.3 million CGT) with total value of about 3.5 billion USD, which has taken the 1st place globally based on total amount while the newbuild completion of Japanese shipyards is 42 ships, amounting to 3.1 million DWT (0.8 million CGT) with total value of about 1.3 billion USD.
