On Feb. 16, DSIC Party Secretary and Chairman Liu Zheng chaired the learning meeting for the center group of party committee so as to learn the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech at the provincial- and ministerial-level seminar and the spirit of the 7th plenary session of the 18th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection collectively, and make a study and deployment for next phase in-depth learning and full implementation of the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech, where DSIC leadership members attended the learning.
Liu Zheng pointed out during his learning, General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech interpret major issues on how to strengthen and regulate political life and to enhance surveillance within the Party profoundly, which has great and far-reaching guiding significance for promoting Party’s construction of new great projects and comprehensively strengthening Party discipline. The Guiding Principles and Regulations passed at the 6th plenary session of the Central Committee of the CPC has not only pointed out the symptoms, but also made the prescriptions against prominent contradictions and issues existed within the Party, i.e. there are not only measures to deal with the problem symptoms, but also strategies to deal with its root causes. Every word has its profound meaning and explicit direction, indispensable. DSIC Party organizations at different levels should be in close combination with new requirements for comprehensively strengthening Party disciplines under new situations, take implementation of spirit of the 6th plenary session of the Central Committee of the CPC as an important political task in a certain length of time from today to tomorrow, stick to the requirements for comprehensively strengthening Party disciplines throughout every aspect and whole process of Party building, learn deep and get thorough understanding in combination with practice, seize the essence and central theme, repeat learning, repeat thinking and repeat comparison, continually enhance responsibility and obligation, and fulfill the Guiding Principles and Regulations enthusiastically so as to enable every Party organization and Party member in DSIC to act consciously for more solid implementation into their work .
Liu Zheng talked about his learning experience in combination practice. He requested DSIC’s Party organizations at different levels learn and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech at the provincial- and ministerial-level seminar seriously, implement the spirit of the 7th plenary session of the 18th Central Commission for Discipline Inspection profoundly so as to get deep and thorough understanding on its spirit, seize various stipulations in the Guiding Principles and Regulations carefully and correctly, further enhance political awareness, overall awareness, core awareness and emulation awareness, unswervingly promote comprehensively strengthening Party disciplines, firmly stand up for CPC authority, persist in the values of the CPC, unceasingly solidify and boost political consciousness, strengthen self discipline strictly, intensify responsibility and obligation, work hard and harder, and act actively so as to fight for and make contributions to building DSIC into “a leading enterprise in the shipbuilding heavy industry, driven by innovation, five major industries abreast, leading domestic and first class in the world”.
