DSIC named for delivery of No.8 8800TEU container vessel MSC Antonella constructed for CIMC Leasing and MSC on Mar.30, where it has only taken the vessel 88 hours to accomplish the sea trial, which has set up a new record of the shortest sea trial period in serial of ships. Up to now, DSIC has completed the task and target in the 1st quarter and various lines of production achieved good results. DSIC Deputy GM Deng Changlian attended the naming & delivery ceremony.

In the 1st quarter of 2016, tightly focusing on the characteristics of under-construction products, based on the core of raising productivity, and making comprehensive arrangement on production resources and plans, DSIC has gone all out to increase quality and efficiency and the glad news of production repeats one after another: No.61 300k DWT VLCC Caesar realizes sea trial 91days ahead of schedule, ready for delivery with Zero pending item; No.44 180k DWT bulker only takes 72 hours to complete all sea trial items with a new record of sea trial period; the launching integrity of No.44 180k DWT bulker gets to a higher level with a qualitative leap in nice-looking construction; No.8 8800TEU container vessel shortens its sea trial period once again; half section of No.65 300k DWT VLCC launches while No.62 in the same serial undocking.
