September 8 has witnessed the naming and delivery of No.60 319k DWT VLCC “Kai Hang” with sediment proof function constructed for China Merchants Group by DSIC, where the representatives signed the delivery and acceptance protocol on behalf of China Oil Shipping, CSOC and DSIC. CSIC Deputy GM Du Gang, China Merchants Group Deputy GM Wang Hong,  China Merchants Group Energy Shipping Co. Ltd. Managing Director Xie Chunlin, and DSIC leaders Liu Zheng and Chen Yongyi attended the ceremony

Du Gang said in his speech, based on the cooperative spirit of “Sincere Cooperation, Mutual Benefit & Win-win Solution” always adhered to, CSIC and China Merchants Group have jointly made a series of fruitful results with open communication and mutual collaboration for years. Today, the smooth delivery of No.60 319k DWT VLCC “Kai Hang” is another attestation for successful cooperation between DSIC affiliated to CSIC and China Merchants Group. Du wishes DSIC to continue to summarize experiences and give play to its advantages in carrying out construction of following vessels to good effect so as to give China Merchants Group a satisfactory answer sheet and add radiance to wide partnership between the two parties.

Wang Hong said in his speech, No.60 319k DWT VLCC “Kai Hang” delivered today, is the 8th one constructed for China Merchants Group by DSIC, which marks that partnership between the parties has strided a firmer step to alliance between giants, win-win solutions and mutual benefits. He wishes the parties could deepen their future partnership more tightly, based on sincere communication, mutual trust and understanding, exchange experiences together, continually optimize construction of following vessels, further boost ship performances, improve construction quality and create better quality vessels.
