Days ago, all the VLCC PMA basket and JS100-1 construction platform positioning windlass and winch designed and fabricated by DSIC Tooling Company passed one-time acceptance inspection conducted by the owner, class society, DSIC design house and quality department.
The PMA basket is specially developed and designed for VLCC , which is an important device to conduct hull structural inspection, close visual inspection and thickness test. This product, upon its successful acceptance inspection, has not only filled a domestic gap, but also positively responded to DSIC’s requirements to increase localization of electromechanical products and played an active role in decreasing DSIC’s procurement cost. Its performance parameters and features have ranked among similar imported products, which has added a new economic growth point for the Tooling Company upon its successful development with a high marketing value.
The JS100-1 construction platform positioning windlass and winch are the first offshore engineering support equipment for the Tooling Company to develop and design according to CCS rules and regulations for offshore engineering. To compare with the windlass and winch for merchant vessels, this product features in high technical difficulties and high value added, which is another new breakthrough of the Tooling Company in technical innovation and has achieved a synchronic technical development with similar products abroad. This is also a milestone for the Tooling Company to fully build up and expand self-owned brand of deck machinery
Up to now, the Tooling Company has all completed production tasks in 2016 and will continue to expand, refine and consolidate the sector of Three Major Products through product innovation so as to promote its sustainable development in 2017.
