Recently, DSIC has made a great breakthrough in contracting nuclear power products, who bagged two projects of mechanical module and nuclear island pressure vessel (3rd batch) from the China National Nuclear Corporation (CNNC) in its Xudabao Nuclear Power Phase 1 Project.
The mechanical module in Xudabao Project is the first one in nuclear-class equipment manufacture won the bid since DSIC acquired its license, which means DSIC has finally achieved positive results in marching into nuclear power equipment manufacture field with unremitting efforts for years. Up to now, DSIC has become an official member in China nuclear power equipment manufacture club.
Meanwhile, contracting of the project has not only cleared away barriers for renewal of the nuclear power equipment manufacture license, also created advantages in applying for further expanding the license for Class 1 Nuclear Piping Prefabrication and Class 2 and 3 Pressure Vessels Manufacture so as to extend the business scope of nuclear power projects
